The F60 mould is a double scull/coxless pair 2x/2- with exceptional features deriving from the F17, the evolution of that one to adapt it to the new dynamics of thrust that comes from the Aliante rear wing.The stern has a more evident and developed banana shape to trigger the wedge effect during the attach phase, where the Aliante rear wing expresses the difference. The excess of discharged power, compared with the front wing, which would cause a major bow-heavy, is compensated by the geometry of the final part of the boat. This geometry essential in the attack phase, let also obtain a better performance at the same load, since the wet surface is reduced, with the same immersed volume, and therefore the friction resistance is reduced. In addition, the differences in peak speed (minimum and maximum) are reduced favouring a decrease in pitch with a consequent increase of the average speed of the boat and therefore with a consequent performance’s improve.In short, a boat suitable for the new needs arising from the use of the new riggers.Experience the difference!
